The ASME Qld Young Composers’ Competition is back once again in 2013 in the refreshed format developed last year and a wide range of sections to cater for the wide cross-section of composition which is occurring in Queensland schools.
ASME Qld continues to present informative, high quality and relevant professional development to our members across all sectors of Music Education.
ASME Qld will be holding our 2013 Annual General Meeting on Saturday 14 September 2013. Following the meeting, our traditional AGM Dinner will be held at Roman Empire Bar & Restaurant.
The Queensland Advocates for Arts Education (QAAE) represent the five major professional associations for arts educators in Queensland. QAAE provides access to an extensive network of arts educators and artists and represents the interests, concerns, values and priorities of arts educators.
The 19th ASME National Conference is being held in Canberra from 29 September to 1 October. The conference theme for 2013 is Redefining the musical landscape: inspired learning and innovation in music education.
